Just a standard led bulb type,3mm I think.just inserted it with the head location ball.in short I just shoved it into the head with the balljoint.this kit has a different rubber/vinyl insert for the head from all the other ones in that it needs to be placed ibside the head which is basicly 1 part with just 1 small part that gos on the lower back of the head.so you either get the led right or you dont and try again, theres no face plate to pull off to adjust that way unlike all the other kits before it.
